About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team for a 6+ month contract engagement in Irvine, CA. This is a hybrid role that requires local presence in Southern California, contributing to high-impact enterprise application development projects.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Architect and implement robust microservices to support complex business logic.
- Write efficient SQL queries and manage data interactions within enterprise-grade databases.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration between services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in enterprise application development.
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years of professional experience in Java-based software engineering.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and REST API development.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management for enterprise applications.
- Must be local to or willing to commute to Irvine, CA for a hybrid work model.
- Proven track record of working on large-scale enterprise application development.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
