About the Role
A leading technology team in Amsterdam is seeking a Java Microservices Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud‑native backend services. The role will contribute to banking‑related applications, leveraging Azure and Kubernetes to deliver scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement microservices using Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Deploy and manage services on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with product and QA teams to ensure high quality releases.
- Optimize performance and reliability of backend systems.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Proven expertise in building microservices and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services, especially AKS.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD processes and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- 8–10 years of professional software development experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Nice to Have
- Banking or financial services domain experience.
- Familiarity with Azure services beyond AKS, such as Azure Functions or Cosmos DB.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and performance tuning.
