About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated PeopleSoft Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and enhancement of PeopleSoft applications, ensuring they meet our enterprise business needs and performance standards.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools such as Application Designer and PeopleCode.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the PeopleSoft environment.
- Collaborate with functional analysts to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Optimize system performance through SQL tuning and efficient code development.
- Perform unit testing and support integrated testing phases for new features.
- Maintain and update technical documentation for system modifications and integrations.
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience in PeopleSoft development and system maintenance.
- Strong technical proficiency in PeopleTools, including Application Engine and Component Interface.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database management systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a contract-based, project-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 and modern Fluid UI development.
- Familiarity with Integration Broker for third-party system connections.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft security administration and permission lists.
