About the Role
The Windows System Administrator will manage both on‑premises Windows Server infrastructure and Microsoft Azure cloud services for a leading enterprise in Sharjah. Working within the IT operations team, you will ensure system reliability, security, and compliance across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Administer Windows Server environments, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure IaaS/PaaS resources and related services such as Entra ID and Azure AD.
- Manage Office 365, Intune, Exchange Online, and Teams configurations.
- Oversee virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper‑V.
- Implement security measures, system hardening, and disaster recovery solutions like Azure Site Recovery.
- Coordinate with other IT teams following ITIL best practices for incident and change management.
What We're Looking For
- 8–10+ years of experience in Windows Server and Azure administration.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Azure AD.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud services.
- Proficiency in Office 365, Intune, Exchange Online, and Teams.
- Ability to implement security controls, MFA, SSO, and conditional access.
- Experience with infrastructure security, system hardening, and DR planning.
Nice to Have
- Relevant Microsoft/Azure certifications (e.g., MCSE, Azure Administrator).
- Experience with MFT administration and ITIL certification.
